Hi Valentina!
Sorry to bother you. I have Lenovo Ideapad s340-15IWL.
I have done some tests because I am sure Iris woked for me before and I found a very strange thing:
When my notebook is charging, there is no flickering with Iris working, when there is only battery, it starts to flicker even with Iris 🙁 How is it even possible?

Where could be the problem?
Thank you!

Hi Max,
If you can it’s a good idea to get a flicker-free monitor, they help reduce eye strain and headaches

I’m suffering from Post concussive syndrome and am trying to find a screen solution that will help me look at screens again for longer than 20 min without migraines. Is it better to have 0 PWM (flicker-rate) or to have a really high PWM flicker rate?

Thank you!

Well, the best thing is to get monitor without any flicker, but 100,000 shouldn’t cause eye strain (maybe)

My laptop screen flickers over 100,000 times per second. Is that at all harmful?

Iris will use a little bit more but it should be quite insignificant, you probably won’t notice it

I wonder that when I set the screen brightness to maximum (1), then decrease the brightness to
a lower value (e.g. 20%) via Iris app (2), will (2) and (1) consume the same battery amount ?

Yes it does, just turn your phone brightness to 100% and then control it from Iris
