Hi Tom,
A 100% accurate color cannot be achieved while removing blue light at the same time

We have a feature that is made for this case, it’s called Color Pausers and there is a guide on how to use it here:
https://iristech.co/color-pausers-page-help/

It allows you to turn Iris off when you open a specific program (like Photoshop) this way Iris can be paused while using programs that require accurate colors to work with 🙂

What is the correct color temperature to ensure “true color” (for image processing and other artwork requiring that I see exactly what the colors of an image are)? I see some evidence that it may be 6500, but other evidence it’s 5000. Is it 6500, 5000 or something else?

FWIW, I intend to set up 2 invocations of Iris Micro; one to set to “true color” and appropriate brightness, and the other to “kill as much blue as possible” and brightness the same as the first. I’ll do this on each PC, and of course the brightness will depend on each PC’s monitor.

Hi Ravi,
I think I emailed you about this yesterday but will also explain here just in case 🙂

Iris doesn’t currently have a mode or setting that is made to reduce UV light but we can test this and try to add it in the future if possible

I don’t think that there is a need to wear glasses while using Iris because Iris already reduces the blue light 🙂

Apart from Blue light, can Iris also reduce UV light? Is there any mode or setting for this purpose in Iris Pro?

There are eye glasses intended for blue light,uv light protection and anti-glare. Will it make a difference? Should I also wear this eye glass with Iris in usage?
