I am lucky!! This rarely happens but I apparently have an excellent monitor. I’m very grateful. Thank you for this. I did both tests to be sure.

5000k is during the day

No, the maximum is 6500k

During the night Reading type is 3400k and 80% brightness

Basically, if you want to remove all blue light use Sleep type 🙂

It will also reduce the blue light and brightness automatically”

I don’t get it, in the reading type the blue light is automatically set to 5000k, the highest right? And the brightness to 100%. Can you explain me that?

In the test I found one panel flickering. In settings I then changed Sleep, Biohacker and Reading, each in turn.
In all three the flicker stopped but instead, the panels had little balls of light, some just had one only. All slowly drifting downwards.
Is there an answer to that event.

What do you mean by that? Iris should cover your screen. If you want you can send me a mail with more details about the problem and a screenshot of what’s broken and we will fix it 🙂 contact@iristech.co

By Autoconfig I mean one button on old monitors which moves the picture and tries to calibrate the X and Y position of the picture

Subpixel flicker occurs when colors change fast so even if the test moves a little Reading mode removes subpixel flicker

The goal of the test is for people to see what actually happens but when you use your computer it’s not like looking at test

All modes of Iris reduce Subpixel flicker but Reading, Sleep and Biohacker completely remove it

Hi Daniel,
In Health mode, numbers 1, 4a, and 5 appear to flicker. But again, when I remove my glasses and look closely, I see no flickering.

I’m not sure what you mean by the Autoconfig button on the monitor, or what to do with it. I have an older MacBook Pro and in Systems Preferences it does allow me to choose various monitor settings, including some that limit the blue light. But it seems Iris does a better and more thorough job.

Well, you can try Autoconfig button on your monitor if you have it, but if you don’t see Subpixel flicker at Health use it on Health mode 🙂

Thanks for responding. I had already set brightness to 100%. I checked and it still was. I took the test again and boxes 1 and 5 still seemed to be flickering (in Reading mode). But when I take off my glasses (for myopia) and look really closely at the boxes, they are not flickering. Perhaps it is my eyes doing this? Or my glasses? Or my brain? Strange. Anyway, I’m so glad and grateful I found Iris. Will certainly buy it.

To remove flicker, set your monitor brightness to 100% and then you can control the brightness from Iris

I started with Iris set to Health and one of the boxes was flickering. Then I moved it to Reading, expecting no flickers, but now two of the boxes were flickering. What’s going on?
